How do I fix little spots on a piece of furniture where finish has been “eaten” by felt pads on a wine rack?

I had the furniture refinished about a year ago. Since then, I’ve had a wine rack resting on it. Four corners of the rack are protected by little felt pads. Seems as though the pads at through the finish. Is there a way I can hide or spot repair these four little spots?

I’d say put the rack back on to hide the spots, but I am afraid it is time to get re-finished. Yes, you could attempt to match the finish, but reminders of the spots will always appear to be there. It may cost more to go to an expert to fix the problem, than to just refinish the entire area.

Try http://www.diy.com- the do it yourself network. They have answers for everything.
